In Auckland, services are provided under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Auckland International Seafarers Centre, with funding from Maritime New Zealand.
Maritime Welfare Ltd provides a team comprised of three chaplains, ship-visitors, and centre-attendants to provide ship-visiting, and general welfare services to seafarers on ships in the port of Auckland. The team mans the centre in the evenings and the chaplains are available on-call.
